About the Bank
The Bank of Israel is the central bank of the State of Israel. It was established in December 1954, and its headquarters are located in Jerusalem.
Its main objectives are maintaining price stability, supporting the government's economic policy—particularly in promoting growth, employment, and reducing social gaps—and ensuring the stability of the financial system.
In addition, the bank works to increase public awareness of its activities and areas of responsibility through various publications, press releases, and other communication channels.
My Work with the Bank of Israel
During 2022-2023, I worked as a Graphic Designer and UX/UI Designer for the Bank of Israel as part of my role at Ness Technologies. The bank was my main client, and I was fully involved in a wide range of significant projects.
The central project was the design of the new Bank of Israel website—a large-scale, complex, and engaging project. I joined the project midway as a replacement for a senior designer and took on the design leadership of the project.
In addition to the website, I provided ongoing design support for the bank's graphic needs, including the design of internal systems, dashboards, conference presentations, marketing materials, and more.
The new Bank of Israel website
The new Bank of Israel website launched in May 2023. It is a large-scale platform featuring economic information, financial data, and official publications. The main design challenge was simplifying complex information into a clear, intuitive, and accessible user experience.
Banknotes and coins
One of the project's key challenges was designing the banknotes and coins section—a unique "mini-site" within the main website. The goal was to present the banknotes' colors, depth, and security features in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.

Dashboards
Statistics and data transfer are a major part of the bank's website,
I designed the dashboards as clearly and simply as possible, and the colors were adapted to the accessible color palette that was chosen in the early stages of creating the new website.
Presentations
As part of my role, I designed presentations for both internal and external audiences, from team meetings to major conferences. My goal was to communicate complex information clearly and effectively through clean layouts, graphics, icons, and visual storytelling.
