Infographic design for the Bank of Israel Gender Pay Gap Report – 2022
The design is intended to illustrate the key data from the Bank of Israel's annual report in a clear, professional, and accessible way. The visualization focuses on a balance between text and graphic information - while emphasizing gender equality and awareness of existing gaps.
Using infographic elements such as pie charts, bar charts, and gender symbols (women and men), the design depicts the gender distribution in the bank in 2022 (46% women and 54% men), and the gaps in pay and roles between the genders.
The visual language is clean, soft, and balanced – using pleasant colors that separate the population groups but do not create visual conflict. The goal is to create an intuitive reading experience that will allow anyone to quickly understand the big picture, and to pay attention to the inherent gaps between women and men in pay – even when it comes to the same field of occupation.
The design serves the message of the report: to raise awareness and make the information available in a clear and accessible way to the general public.
